                                                     Episode 97: Trip back to Earth! The Long-Lost Researcher, Interijento Oxybelis.

                                                                  *Earth, Station Square*

At Station Square with red and yellow evening sky, news about Sonic's return begun to spread really quickly after 2 days ago as everyone around the whole world heard the rumour. At a tea chaff, a woman named Topazes was reading a loco newspaper on the home coming of Sonic and friends just as she looked happy to hear it as she then goes in to deep thoughts.

                                                                              *Flashback*

Everything goes into a flashback in moments when she and Rouge had day's together out in town or on missions ordered by the government. It then goes to day when they had their final farewell.

"Here, take this!" Rouge said as she hands over a tiny green box with a diamond ring inside to Topazes. "When I saw that in the Jewry shop I just had to get it. It was a steal!" She explains as Topazes smiles back at her without a word as Rouge then leaves good bye. "See ya!"

                                                                       *End of Flashback*

Back in the present, Topazes finishes her drink as she then looks up at the sky in wonder. "Rouge… Very soon we'll meet again as old friends!" She said to herself as she looked happy.

                                                                           *Steaming Bar*

At Station Square's bar, many men who looked like from a baseball team were celebrating while raising their drinking glasses in the air before drinking down. At the serving desk, two men who one was white and the other brown were sitting next together as they looked at a loco newspaper and read it together.

"Tell me this is a dream, Elmer." The white man in the orange hat and blue jacket said as he thought he was seeing things.

"Nope, this is truly great news, Al! I can remember the time on that day when they showed us a perfect game!" The Brown man said as he looked at the picture of Sonic and hearing the story that he was coming back.

"It says here their arrival will be tomorrow mid-day at 12:30! Not long now." Albert said as he was still surprised and happy of that news as he could remember the day he and Tails met. "I wonder how Tails has gotten over these past six years?"

"We won't know till tomorrow comes. Let's celebrate while we have the time, Al!" Elmer suggested as he picks up his bear glass.

"To are friends' return!" Albert said as he and Elmer cheer and drink after a toast.

                                                                             *China Town*

At a far off China Town, a man named Hawk was hearing the latest update news on T.V. at his house about Sonic and his friend's home coming as he was really happy to hear.

                                                                              *Flashback*

A flashback shows a few years back when he and Knuckles had their departed ways while riding a boat away.

"I'll be back! See ya, Hawk." Knuckles said while bidding farewell by giving a thumbs up at Hawk.

"So long old friend! GOOD BYE!" Hawk shouts out as he bursts into tears and waves good bye to Knuckles.

                                                                       *End of Flashback*

"Well, I can't just stand around hear waiting, I'm going to Station Square and meet up with him when that tomorrow comes. Knuckles, I look forward to hearing what you and you're friends had been up to these last 6 years!" Hawk said to himself feeling excited as he decides to get things packed.

                                                                      *Next day, Mobius, South Island*

Meanwhile, it was the next day on Mobius at South Island while at a rocky cost, Shadow was standing on top of a rock while he was very deep in thoughts as he recalls on things he remembers.

"Why can't I remember anything except my name and that… young girl who haunts my mind?" Shadow asks himself as he begins to see images of the young blond hair girl who he thinks about. "I shall find the answer to who I really am!" He said as he begins to stare out into space.

"Why so melancholy?" A voice said as it was Rouge who had just shown up behind Shadow while airborne.

"What are you here for?" Shadow asks while still looking out in the distance.

"Sonic and the others almost got that new portal finished so we can use it to get back to Chris' world." Rouge explains just as she got an idea. "Why don't you and Omega come with us?" She asks.

"Hmph! Any particular reason why I should?" Shadow said coldly as he turns to Rouge.

"Well you're still looking for answers about you're past, right? So if go to earth, you might find answers there!" Rouge suggests as she waits for Shadow to say.

"Well… I'll give it some thought when I decide." Shadow said as he turns back and continues to look up at the sky.

"I already told Omega this when I found him still in pursuit of Eggman. Let me know when you two make up your minds!" Rouge said as she then flies off.

"Earth… Could I really find clues as to who I am? It starting to sound very clear to me a little! Hmm…" Shadow said to himself as he rubs his chin.

                                                                         *Outside Tails' Workshop*

On the other side of the island outside of Tails work shop, Tails and Chris were nearly done with the new portal to travel to earth as the two put many of the final touches together.

"We should be almost done!" Tails said looking sure that he and Chris are nearly finished.

"Once we also get the Blue Typhoon up and running, we'll need Sonic to use the Chaos Emeralds to open the machine's void and again once we reach the other side!" Chris said while instructing Tails on the plan of their trip while he rubs his four-head feeling sweaty. "Hopefully Grandpa and the others must have the other portal finished by now!"

"It will soon fell like old times once we make back to Station Square!" Tails said with a smile. "I just can't wait to show Chuck all the crafts and gadget I made other the last few months in our world. I think he'll be really jealous!" He teased as he giggles.

Meanwhile, Amy, Cream, Chesses, Chocola and Vanilla were making their way other to the workshop with many bags and suitcases while Sireena helps them out. She was wearing a different outfit today which was a light blue colour jacket with littlish colour on the top half and little shaded on the bottom half with a collar I black with a wave pattern, two sleeves with two blue belts straps around the elbow and also shows the bottom halves are split. She was also wearing a block vest which could be seen under the jacket and a blue skirt with a light blue belt strap. She also had white sneakers with blue pattern marks.

"This should all be enough for us to take once we arrive at you're world Sireena Dear." Vanilla said while helping carry the bags with the others.

"It will be great. You guys will be so psyche once we get back to my home. A lot of things had changed ever since you said god bye to Chris and the others!" Sireena said while she carries a backpack and two suitcases.

"I forgot to ask yesterday about how you and Chris beat Eggman's robots so easily. How did you guys do it?"  Amy asks as she still wonders about what happened yesterday.

"Oh this thing of course!" Sireena said as she holds out the Power Bracelet on her wrist. "It's called a Power Bracelet. It was made by father who runs a company of science and gadgets. I'm not so sure how or what power source was put into it to level up my stamina, but I'll know soon."

"So this is thing that help you and Chris beat those robots?" Cream asks as she listens.

"Yeah, even Chris has one of his own which my Dad gave him." Sireena said with a smile.

"Oh hi there, girls!" A person said who was in fact Vector along with his team who are carrying lots of stuff in bags and cases.

"Why Vector, I see you and your friends are all set and ready to leave soon!" Vanilla said as she greets them.

"Well of course, we all what to go back to earth and see how much has changed over the last 6 years there!" Vector said as he felt really eager of wanting to go.

"We also like to solve troubles just like the old days when we were there." Espio said as he thinks back to days when he and his team always solved troubles in Station Square.

"I will be just like old times! Old times!!!" Charmy said as he was feeling excited.

"Yeah, even my cousin's friends will be happy to see you all!" Sireena said as everyone remarks of the good days they had with Chris and his friends.

"Hi everyone!" Another person said who was Big carrying a sack on his back with Froggy on his head.

"Oh, hello there, Big!" Cream said with a friendly greeting.

"We see that you're ready to go to, huh?" Amy asks as she saw how well prepared Big was.

"Yeah, I kind of miss everyone back there, and I like to see how great they had gotten; not to mention that I like to try out the fishing holes me and Froggy went to!" Big said happily as Froggy jumps in joy with him.

"We're almost there to the workshop, so let's hurry!" Amy said as she decides to get things going as soon as possible.

"No need to rush." Espio said Charmy as everyone keeps moving forward up the hill road.

"Mind if I carry those?" Big asks as he takes the cases Sireena had on herself.

"Sure Big, thanks!" Sireena said happily as the two kept on walking.

Back with Tails and Chris, the two were almost done as they put in the finishing touches with just one part left to do.

"Almost and… DONE!" Tails said as he takes of his working goggles and turns to Chris. "It's all finished now Chris, we're finally ready!"

"Alright, now all we have to is wait for Knuckles to bring the Master Emerald over so we can get the ship up and running and Sonic to use the emeralds to open the portal!" Chris said as he then suddenly sits down feeling exhausted.

"We're here actually!" Two voices said as it was Sonic and Knuckles standing further away from the Tails and Chris while holding the Master Emerald in their hands.

"Glad you guys got here! We just finished the portal machine!" Tails said as he runs over to the others.

"Great! I can't wait to get this going!" Sonic said as he looks up at the machine. *I wonder if everyone else on that world has been doing after the last 6 years since then?* He thought as he continued looking.

"We just saw Amy and everyone else on their way to workshop with lots of stuff ready to take." Knuckles tells as he puts the Master Emerald down for a bit.

"Perfect timing!" Chris said happily.

"Let's all go and tell and get ready!" Tails suggested as everyone nodes and makes their way back the workshop.

                                                                        *Main Laboratory*

A few minutes later, everyone was gathered in the lab as Tails and Chris begin to explain things about their trip before leaving.

"Okay, now that we have the portal finished and ready to be use, the only way to open it is that Sonic will use the energy from the Chaos Emeralds to open it." Tails explains as he tells more. "Once he does we will travel for quite a few hours through the dimensional void until we reach the end. When we do, Soinc, you'll need to use the full energy you have to open the way into Chris' world by using Chaos Control, but that will also mean letting the emeralds go after we get out."

"It ain't no problem once we reach the other side. When we do… I guess we'll just have to find them again!" Sonic said as he understood the plan with a wink.

"It will be quite strange, I mean when we all the last time went through it took us like lots of hours of flouting our way through the void back home and then we got to the end without even doing anything. We just came out!" Amy said as she and everyone remake of what happened the last time.

"Same here for how long it took me and Chris to reach you're world!" Sireena said with a shy expiration with her hands behind her back.

"I wonder how long it take while on-board the Blue Typhoon?" Vector asks since no one knows how long a moving ship will take them long getting to their destination.

"Well I'm not so sure if Grandpa has the other portal ready yet, but it should take less hours once we reach the end of the road." Chris said with a theory.

"I just hope this works." Knuckles said with a little bit of worry.

"We won't know unless we try!" Sonic said who wasn't that worried at all.

"Alright then, let begin our trip back to earth!" Tails said with determination as he raises his arm in the air just as everyone else does.

"YEAH!!!"

While preparing to board the ship, Sonic, Tails and Chris sort out the controls while Amy, Sireena and the others pack all of the cargo and their bags and cases into loading dock. Just then, Rouge arrives as well as Shadow and Omega how had also decided to come along after all.

"Hi there!" Rouge said as Sireena looks behind and notices them.

"Oh hay Rouge, you guys decided to come I see!" Sireena said who surprises to see Team Dark was here was.

"Of course, I do miss an old friend of mine anyway. These two however only decided to come along for their own reasons." Rouge said sharing her thoughts with Sireena while showing her teammates behind herself.

"Oh hay there, sorry we haven't introduced ourselves the other day, but Chris told me a lot about when I was still young!" Sireena said as she walks over to Shadow and kneels down to great him.

Shadow however wasn't too bothered as he looks away from Sireena a little. "Yeah… it was really nice seeing you when you two came by surprise." He said as he then walks off towards the Blue Typhoon to board.

"Did I do say something wrong to him?" Sireena asks as she looks worried if she made Shadow not like her.

"Don't mind him honey, he's just on rough ends at the moment." Rouge said while putting her hand on Sireena's leg to comfort her.

"And what about you, Robot?" Sireena asks as she turns to Omega who looked charm.

"IT'S ONLY BECAUSE ROUGE HERE WANTS ME TO HELP HER WITH STUFF!" Omega said as he reviles many bags and suitcase that belonged to Rouge in his hands. "I SHOULD BE GOING AFTER EGGMAN, NOT TACKING A D-TORE."

"Well since Sonic is tacking the emeralds with him, I'm not going to sit here while I can't get my hands on them again." Rouge said with her hands on her hips by telling Omega not to complain. "Anyway let's hop aboard!" She said as she and Omega make their way aboard the Typhoon as Sireena giggled and smiled sweetly at the two; seeing how funny it was of those two.

Another 5 minutes later, everyone was prepared as they all had everything on board and were about to have the ship ready to go. In the ships main control deck, Tails was sitting in the middle which was to pilot the ship while Rouge, Chris, Amy and Cream all sit in two sets each on each side of the deck for the other controls while everyone else stand by incise. Meanwhile outside, Vector activates the portal by pressing the red button on the side as the machine sparks with electricity as Sonic stands by in front in ready position.

"Okay Soinc, whenever you're ready!" Vector calls as he waves his hands to Sonic in a signal.

"Okay it is then!" Sonic said with a thumbs up as he then gets ready to use the power of the Chaos Emeralds as they appear circling around him.

"Okay Knuckles, let's get ready to full power the ship!" Tails said through the communication to another room in the ship where Knuckles was standing by with the Master Emerald attached to a machine.

"Let's charge up!" Knuckles said as he begins to call though the Master Emeralds power. "The severs are… the seven chaos. Chaos is power; power is enriched by the heart. THE CONTROL UNIFIES THE CHAOS! MASTER EMERALD; PLEASE GIVE US THE POWER WE NEED TO ACHIEVE!" He calls out as the Master Emerald glows bright with massive energy as the ship begun to power up.

"Activate engine now!" Tails said as he activates the main power of the Blue Typhoon's engine as the ship begun lift up.

Back outside, Sonic then turns into Super Sonic as he aims his hands flat at the portal and fires a ray of light in the center of the electro-magnetic puss as a peckish colour void opens in the center of the portal. Just then from behind, the ground open which was a metal hatch door just as the Blue Typhoon rises out.

"Alright let's get going!" Vector said as he rushes over to the ship and jump on just in time as he makes his way in to join everyone inside.

Meanwhile from a far distance in the woods, Metal Sonic was spying on them as he stares down of what Sonic and his friends are truly up too. "Hehehehe… This will be quite entertaining!" He said as he then looks back at something else in the darkness behind him as red eyes glow. "Now let's go my pet! You can fun crushing them while I take my chance!" He said as he and the unknown thing move out.

Back over on the other side, The Blue Typhoon moves as it gets closer to the void and was able to fit through perfectly just as Sonic hops on at keeps it open until the ship was fully in. After the ship was in, he stands down as the outside behind the ship was now closed just as he then reverts back to his normal form.

"Okay, here we go!" Sonic said as he knew it was finally time for him and everyone to make their way to earth as he makes his way back into the ship.

Back inside the ship, everyone gathers as the all witness the entire void they are in outside their ship. They all then decide to pick up speed as the ship moves as fast as it could through the void road. 30 minutes later, they were still going as they kept eye on in front for anything to happen.

"How far do you think we'll make it?" Charmy asks as he looks up at Chris on one of the ships control sets.

"At this speed we should be able to make in another hour!" Chris said while checking his sets computer showing how long the void was to past through.

"You know, ever since we all set foot in this place, it was always quiet like if nothing or no one lived in this strange dimension." Rouge said while looking over at each window.

"It's kind of different to Special Zones, huh?" Tails asks while looking down at Sonic.

"It does all look very similar!"  Sonic said while watching a head of the void in front.

"What's a Special Zone?" Sireena asks looking curious.

"They are dimensions that can be found in many parts of our world to get to." Sonic said as he explains more. "A few years back before we met Chris, me and my friends kept going to those zones to reclaim the Chaos Emeralds. It was first time ever since we discover them."

"Wow! The first place where you guys discover the emeralds!?" Chris said looking surprised to hear all that.

"That's right!" Tails said.

Just then, the ship begun to rattle as is something just hit them with a powerful tremor.

"What was that tremor just now?" Cream asks as she gets herself up.

"Something's on the ship's radar!" Amy said as she spots something on the ships scanner screen.

"We'll go check it out!" Knuckles said as Sonic, Espio, Shadow, Vector and Omega join with and make their way out of control room.

"Wait for me you guys!" Sireena said as she gets up and follows them just as she equips her Power Bracelet.

As the group make their way out of hatch, they all then notice the thing that cause the ship's shaking. It was robot that looked almost like a centipede in silver and blue armor with lots of legs and had four scythe arms.

"WHAAAAAAAAA!!! I GIANT CENTIPEDE!!!" Sireena said as she was freaked out by the size of the robot and scary it looked.

"Where do think that thing came from?" Espio asks as he was ready to fight.

"More importantly… why is it attacking us!" Shadow asks as he looks up at it.

"SENSERS SAY THAT THIS IS ONE OF EGGMAN'S ROBOTS!" Omega said as he then points to proof. "EVEN THE MARK UP THERE PROVES THAT!"

"Darn it! Why does that Egg-head always have to bother us on important schedule?" Knuckles asks while cracking his fists.

"Let's not bother to think that now!" Sonic said as he leaps forward at the robot. "Let's rip!" He said as he goes into a Speed Dash and bashes into the robot.

As this attracts the Robot's attention, it then attacks by firing blasters from the sides of its back and canon from its mouth.

"Tails, we're being attacked by this thing that followed us into the void. Put up the ships shield!" Knuckles said while calling Tails with his comlink.

"Right, Typhoon Laser Shield activate!" Tails said as he pushes one of the ship's controls to put up its shield.

"Sonic quick, get back here!" Sireena calls as she tries to warn Sonic about the ships shield coming up.

Just then, the robot attacks Sonic with an X scissor which sends him flying back at the ship, but was deflected by the shield that just got set up.

"Hang on, I'm coming!" Sireena calls out as she strongly jumps of the ship and out of the shield as she then notices that the robot was about to attack Sonic again. "Oh no you don't!" She said as she kicks her foot into the side of the robots scythe arms with the power of her bracelet.

This was not quite very powerful however since the robot decides to turn its attention on her as it then was about to whip its back end at her just as Sonic comes by and shields her as he takes the hit. This was so strong as it then sends the two flying away from the others.

"Sonic, no!" Amy said with worry after what she saw.

"Sireena!!!" Chris said in worried shock.

The robot then pushes everyone in the ship to side of the void as it makes a dimensional crack as it then ends up in area where it was space dark and had flouting big rocks everywhere. Meanwhile, Sonic and Sireena where still flouting away from where they came just as Sireena then opens her eyes slightly and notices something they were heading towards what looked more like some kind of book which was almost human sizes.

"Gosh… what now?" Sireena asks as she and Sonic were now close to the book as it then suddenly opens up as a mechanical hand pops out and grabs them into the book.

                                                               *Unknown 20 minutes later*

A few moments later, Sonic and Sireena open their eyes slowly as they both got up quickly in shock and looked around for where they are which they then notice that they were sitting on a bed together.

"Sonic, what just happened?" Sireena asks looking confused.

"We both must have gotten knocked out by that centipede." Sonic said as he recalls on what happened earlier. "But the real worlds are... Where are we?" He asks as he and Sireena notice that they were in some kind of room were many book cases and other agent relics and objects like stone tablets, knight's armor and Vases.

"Look at the celling!" Sireena said and points up as Sonic looks up and notice the celling looked like the vast of space with many stars and nebulas.

"What the heck is up with this place?" Sonic asks looking even more lost.

"Oh, so you two are finally awake, thank goodness!" A voice said in a very charm way as Sonic and Sireena look to their left and notice someone in a brown hood unseen and had machine arms and hands while working at a desk.

"Are the one who bought us here?" Sonic asks while looking at him.

"Who are you exactly?" Sireena asks looking quite nervous.

"Well… it's been years since anyone has ever found me drifting though the endless void." The stranger said as he then takes of his hood to show himself. He was anthropomorphic snake with a pointed face, light green skin over the back, white over the front reaching the chin and had red clear eyes. "But isn't it nice to introduce yourself first before the person you just met?

"Err… heh… Alright fear enough! Sonic said as he decides to the stranger's advice. "My is…"

"But if you insist on me first, my name is Professor Interijento Oxybelis and I a long time researcher. I'm 35 years old; well that's what I think!" The Stranger said by introducing himself fist which cut of Sonic's intro.

"I thought you said we introduce ourselves first." Sonic said looking confused and sweaty.
"Anyway your names then?"

"I'm Sonic the Hedgehog!" Sonic said feeling as the stranger finally was listening.

"I'm Sireena Thorndyke." Sireena said while introducing herself. "Anyway… do you know where we are Mr…? I mean Professor?"

"You like to know where we are, huh? Well I can tell you that I found you both outside my book drifting through void space. Speaking of which, why were you two out there by yourselves?" Interijento asks looking curious.

"Wait of course! We got separated from our friends and we need to get back out there and find them!" Sireena explains as she jumps off the bed and rushes up to Interijento's desk.

"You're friends? Are you saying there's more of you here?" Interijento asks.

"Yeah, you see we were on our way to earth and-" Sonic explains, but was soon stopped as Interijento looked even more surprised.

"You two are heading to earth!?" Interijento asks once more as he looked really shocked.

"Yeah that's right!" Sireena said with a node of her head as Sonic walks over close to her.

"Where are the rest of your friends right now?"

"Well if we remember correctly they… Uh-oh!" Sonic explains just as he then remembers something really serious.

                                                                             *The Others*

Meanwhile back to where the Blue Typhoon was, Tails and the others wake up from their knock out as they wonder what had happened.

"Is everyone alright?" Tails asks as the others get up.

"I felt like I hit my head." Vanilla said as she rubs her saw head.

"Mama!" Cream said as she and the two Chao comfort her.

"I think I remember that we saw Sonic and Sireena fall off the ship!" Amy said as she remembers what happened earlier.

"This is Vector, come in do you read?" Vector's voice called from Tails' comlink as the young fox opens it and responds.

"Vector, where are Knuckles and the others?" Tails asks though the comlink.

"Hay, look up over there!" Rouge calls in distress as everyone looks to their right and notice that the giant centipede was bashing the ship's laser shield and notice Knuckles and the others fighting it outside.

"Take this!" Knuckles said as he Multi Punches on the robots head and pushes it back a little.

Next, Shadow, Espio and Omega attack with barrage of Chaos Spears, Exploding Knifes and Missiles at the robot as Vector jumps up and attacks with his Microphone pole by whacking the side of its head. Shadow then decides to attack head on as he Spin Dash all over the robots body to vibrate it. The robot then tries to attack the ship again by bashing its head into the shield to break it down.

"What do we do?" Big asks while acting all panicking with Froggy joining him.

"While have to fight that thing!" Chris said seeing there was no choice but to attack.

"Amy, Cream, you load up the missile canons and take aim. Chris, you, me and Rouge will target that thing with the laser canons." Tails instructs while giving commands to everyone.

"Right let's do it!" Amy, Cream, Chris and Rouge said as they all take their positions.

They all then fire the ship's canons with missiles and lasers at the centipede as this backs it away from the ship. Meanwhile, Metal Sonic was standing on top of the meteor like rock where the Blue Typhoon was resting on as he looks at the whole battle going on. "It won't matter if they do destroy Metapede, but when he brings down the shield I'll be making my way on without any of those thoughtless creatures noticing me." He said as he then looks to his right at a far off direction where he can see the ripped hole in the air where the void can be seen. "Wonder where might of gone Sonic, let's if you can beat this robot even after you try and make it back here."

Back on earth, out in the open green grass fields close to one of the villages in Station Square, many sanitises and builders were building what looked like the same portal machine Chuck and Tails made years ago and what Chris made to be used to go to Mobius; only it was much bigger. While many of those building say their catchphrase "Build the Portal, Men" Chuck and Nelson were also helping out by using the data from computers to connect to energy to work the machine with everyone else and Chris' friends helping out. Also lots of people from the city were watching from the fences as they know what was going on.

"Gosh, this machine is so HUGE!" Nelson said while looking up high at the portal. "What do think Chris is bringing home, a moon?"

"Well, Chris did tell me to tell you and Lindsey it will be a surprise when they get here." Chuck said and laughs happily as he gets back to working the data. "Still I hope they finished it in time or if nothing has gone wrong."

Meanwhile, Helen, Danny and Francis were also working on the data just as Ella and Lindsey came by with drinks for them to have on a try.

"We have drinks if you all like some!" Lindsey said as the others came over and took their drinks and had a sip.

"You know… this brings us back to that very day when Sonic and the others had to go home!" Helen said as she looks up at the Portal while everyone did the same. "6 Years had passed since then" She said as they recall of what happened on that day by saying goodbye to Sonic and the others in tears. "Do you ever think… they'll remember who we are after so long?"

"I'm sure they'll still remember us, Helen." Danny said as he knows deep down.

"It will soon be like old times; maybe we might have adventures with them again!" Francis said looking excited as everyone laughs with each other.

Meanwhile, the President and his men were setting up a sage for the arrival to. Also Topaz and Mister Stewart were helping as well. He then looks at the portal still being built as it was nearly halfway finished.

                                                                      *Interijento's Lab*

Meanwhile back in the lab, Sonic and Sireena were standing in front of the snake sanitise, Interijento as they explain the situation they had encountered.

"I see, you say that you and your friends were attacked on the way. It's strange though that there were never monsters in the dimensional rift." Interijento said as he continued writing a scroll with a quill feather.

"It was not a monster; it was a robot that might have been sent by Eggman to stop us again." Sonic said while trying to make the story sound clear.

"I'm a little curious Professor, why are you out here in time and space all of a sudden? Haven't you been here for so long and that you want to go home?" Sireena asks as Interijento stops writing after hearing her worlds as he takes a deep breath. "Oh, sorry if I said anything that might of upset-"

"NO… it's alright. I guess I can't hide secrets easy." Interijento said as he stood up and begins to explain. "Where I came from was a plaint far off from humans like yourself young one. Long ago, we a group of professors came to earth from our home plaint to learn of your technology which was different from ours and to learn drifts of alter-worlds."

"Alter-Worlds?" Sonic asks.

"Yes, we wanted also learn about the history of humans when they existed though time. Also, we meet a man who said that he and his people were not from earth and mistake us what they call… Mobians."

"Mobians? That's what I am!" Sonic said in shock

"Hmm? You say you are one?" Interijento asks by surprise.

"That's right; my home world is a lot different from Sireena's. Mine is sometimes what we call Mobius." Sonic explains.

"Huh! You truly are a creature who came from that world? But how were you all able to open a get into this rift then?" Interijento asks even more surprised as he puts his hands down flat on his desk.

"With these of course." Sonic said as he holds out his hand as the Blue Chaos Emerald appears out of nowhere in sight.

"IS… IS… IS… IS... IS THAT A CHAOS EMERALD!?" Interijento asks utterly shocked with his eyes big.

"Yep!" Both Sonic and Sireena said and nod.

"HEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!" Interijento shouts as he suddenly springs to the ceiling but got rejected by the allusion space image above as he fell down, but got back up again. "If those are the real thing, then you truly are from the world the Chaos Emeralds came from!"

"Yeah that's right. I have them all at the moment, but once we reach the point where Earth's gate way is, they'll be sent flying and land in random parts again just like always." Sonic said as he puts his emerald away.

"You said that a man and his people where humans who came from Sonic's world is that right? What was the man's name?" Sireena asks as if she sounded interested.

"The man I meet… which was 18 years ago… was known as Professor Gerald Robotnik." Interijento said as the name of the man he mentioned shocked Sonic.

"Wait, you mean Eggman's grandfather from the Space Colony ARK?" Sonic asks since he remembers that time on the ARK in space above earth.

"I heard a little about that story from Chris!" Sireena said looking surprised to hear Sonic's back story on board the ARK.

"Yes, I see you know of it!" Interijento said.

"It's been shut down for 50 years because an accident occurred." Sonic explains.

"50 Years? If that's true then time in this void must have been slow." Interijento said as he then turns his head aside and thinks for a moment back.

                                                                             *Flash Back*

Out in space inside a research facility, Interijento was speaking to a man who resembles Eggman, but was wearing a white lab coat, black trousers, blue glasses and had a gray moustache.

"Professor, Are you sure you really want me to do this?" Interijento asks while facing aside Gerald.

"I'm not sure if this will help you succeed, but I can rely on you to gather the Emeralds back on my true home world." Gerald said as he then walks over to a machine and places his hand on it. "I heard that this void tunnel to our world will stay still in time. I'm not sure when this will begin, but time in this universe moves fast while in my world… it is slow. I'm not sure if the void tunnel will remain the said as one of the universes."

"No matter how long it will take me, I promise I will bring you the Chaos Emeralds and find a way to make it back to this world!" Interijento said as he nods his head in agreement as he then turns around and slivers away. "One more thing, I hope one day… our worlds will meet."

"I'm sure they will… my friend."

                                                                      *End of Flash Back*

*So it is true! This blue hedgehog is not from my world, but his own, and that girl with him is from earth, also this blue hedgehog said he been to ARK and said he has all the Chaos Emeralds with him now. If that the case then…* Interijento thought deeply as he then smiles and looks up to Sonic and Sireena. "If you two truly say you are on your way to earth and have all the Chaos Emeralds with you to do so, then I shall come along and help you. Please, both our worlds and the Emeralds have been my life's long research; I wish to come with you to learn what earth has been through after 50 years!" He begged as he looks deep into the two with pleasing.

"Sonic, are sure we can trust this guy?" Sireena asks seeing she was not so sure to trust a stranger they just met.

"You said you been in here for so long right? So then… we'll let you come along with us." Sonic said as he had finally decided to let Interijento come with them.

"Thank you Sonic the Hedgehog and Young Sireena, I promise I will not be of any burden to you and you your friends. Which reminds me, that thing you said that attacked you all on the way must still be attacking you're group. We must hurry!" Interijento said happily and seeing that they need to get a move on as he then goes over to a chest and opens it as he pasts two pares of diving flippers out to Sonic and Sireena.

"What are these for?" Sireena asks as she and Sonic looked confused.

"We swim our way through the week gravity and get to where you're friends are in time." Interijento said as he then opens a door that looked like the cover of a book and reviles the void tunnel outside. "Let's be going!" He said as Sonic and Sireena put on the flippers and jump outside as they kick their feet and move their arms forward as Interijento follows them out of the book and closes it and he takes it with him and starts to move to catch up with his new allies.

Back with the others, the Blue Typhoon was doing the best it can to try and stop Metapede as Knuckles and Shadow go at the robot by using Screwdriver and Spin Dash, but were backed away by a head-butt from the robot as they land on the rock. Vector then uses Fire Breath attack, but did not do much as Metapede slashes him away as Espio jumps up and catches him. Omega then uses Machine Gun fire all over Metapede as this still did not do very much to stop him.

"Man, that thing is tough!" Knuckles said after seeing how thick the armor all over Metapede was.

"I think we may have one way to escape, but we'll need to get the ship up and running!" Espio suggested as Knuckles knows what he means.

"I see, I got to get the Master Emeralds energy up and running so we could fly out of here." Knuckles said as he smiles for the idea.

"I just heard ya! We'll bring the shield down and keep firing while you make inside, Knuckles!" Tails said though the communication after hearing Espio's suggestion.

As Tails brings the ship's shield down while still firing its weapons at Metapede, Knuckles rushes into the ship as he tries to get the Master Emerald going. Suddenly, Metapede then unleashes a wave of cutting energy slashes which had broken through the lasers and missiles as they bash into the ship.

"If we don't get out of here, we'll be mince-meat!" Amy said seeing as they are all in a struggle.

"Knuckles please hurry!" Chris shouts in distress.

"I'm trying, but I can do it very fast!" Knuckles said through the comlink.

"Hay guys…" A voice called as everyone heard it from the comlinks. "Guys!" It said as everyone soon smiled with hope.

"It's Sonic, he's alright!" Amy said feeling brightened after hearing his voice.

"But where is it coming from?" tails asks as he looks around for Sonic in site, until…

"Hay you guys, sorry we're late back, but we needed help to get to you all!" Another person said who was in fact Sireena as she, Sonic and Interijento came out of light and into the strange part of the void as they swim there way to the others.

"I glad those two are okay!" Cream said happily as her Chao also dance with joy.

"But who's that with them?" Rouge asks as she also notices Interijento with them.

Just then, Metapede notices the three and decides to turn his attention to them as he attacks with a tackle which knocks the three back away.

"Sireena!" Chris shouts with worry.

"Sonic Ball Kick." Sireena pronounces as she and Sonic attack together with Sonic curling up into his ball state as Sireena kicks him like a soccer ball at Metapede with powerful force that was able to dent his metal head.

Just then, Metapede attacks again by using an energy slash as it heads straight for Sonic.

"Sonic no!" Sireena shouts as she moves in his way and turns around as the slash was heading at her much to everyone's horror.

As the beam slash hits into her Power Bracelet and crakes it apart, a beam of light suddenly pushes the wind slash back and covers the area around in white light just as it fades as Sonic and Sireena wonder what just happened until they notice a strange ball of pure white light in front of them.

"Sonic, what is that ball of light that came from my bracelet?" Sireena said as she notices her beat up Power Bracelet on her wrist.

"I don't know." Sonic said as if he hadn't seen the light ball before.

"It… it can't be!" Interijento said in shock surprise as he moves closer to the ball. "This is something me and my people had been looking for all these years!"

"You know what it is?" Sonic asks looking curiously.

"This my friends… is the Agent Light!" Interijento said as he begins to explain about what he knows. "This light is what gives a person with great power levels to increase their power way beyond such as powerful rock braking or giving the user powerful speed then before."

"Powerful Speed you say? Then in that cases…" Sonic said and asked as he then turns his attention to the light and then grabs it as it shines even brighter and suddenly fuses into his body. "What is this? I feel like light!" He said as he looks all over himself as he feels really great power inside him.

"The Agent Light somehow must of accepted you as its user! Uses its power really well Sonic, and help your friends!" Interijento suggested as he smiles.

"Right then!" Sonic said with a nod as he then turns back to Metapede who was coming back at him and the other two. "Sireena, you and Prof might want to hold on tight!" He said just as Metapede was now close in front of them and attacks with his scythe.

Suddenly, Sonic and the others were gone as Metapede looked around for them until suddenly, a powerful blue energy dash of wind tackles into him side to side as it was Sonic with Sireena and Interijento holding on.

"Whoa-HO! I feel faster than ever now!" Sonic said as he could not believe the amazing speed he was dashing around with was so fast, not even Metapede could see or sense him coming.

"Wow! I can't really believe my Dad's bracelet had some inside all along which could help you Sonic!" Sireena shouts out as she was enjoying the fast speed Sonic was going at while holding on tight.

"I think I'll call this this my new speed, Sonic Boost!" Sonic said as he continues to bash and past by Metapede.

"What unbelievable speed!" Shadow said to himself as he watches Sonic pummel the robot.

"I never knew he was this fast!" Vector said looking amazed.

Suddenly, the Blue Typhoon started to lift of the ground as Shadow and the others notice and hop on.

"Sonic, this is Tails, were moving the ship towards you and Sireena, so get ready to board!" Tails said through Sonic's comlink.

"Okay!" Sonic said after making sure.

The Blue Typhoon then tackles into the back of Metapede which knocks him down as Sonic, Sireena and Interijento came out of his speed and the two make their way inside while Sonic said on the beige as he and everyone soon came out of the hole and are back on the main road of the void.

"Glad we got out of there!" Charmy said feeling relived.

"It's not over yet you guys look!" Tails said as he and everyone saw in front that Metapede was crawling above them and lowers down as he gets ready to grab and attack them. "We'll blow it away with the Sonic Driver!"

"No need!" Sonic's voice said though the Tails' comlink from the outside of the ship. "I have a better idea to beat this bug!" He said as he then begun to Spin Charge.

"What's he going to do?" Knuckles ask looking confused.

"Wait, what are those little lights going into him?" Chris said as he notices little lights being pulled into Sonic.

"The Light Attack!" Interijento said as everyone looks at him. "This will surly help him win!"

After Sonic was finished charging up and knees down in a starting running position, blue glowing aura appears all over his body as he them aims his eye contacted at Metapede. "Ready… GO!" He shouts out as he suddenly dashes all over around Metapede with blinding speed, it was hard for the robot to follow his movements, until Sonic bashes onto his chest and pierces right through and over and over again all over until the robot's body finally explodes with bits falling down as Sonic safely lands back on the Blue Typhoon.

"To easy, piece of cake!" Sonic said while doing a victory pose.

"He did it!" Cream said looking amazed.

"What cool power!" Tails said second.

"I never thought Sonic could move that fast, I couldn't follow his movement before beating that robot!" Amy said thread.

*Sonic is… amazing!* Sireena said in her mind as she could not help but kept looking at Sonic who was still outside standing on the edge of the ship.

"Anyway, who is this you two bought back?" Shadow asks Sireena as everyone looks at Interijento.

"Finally, someone mentions him!" Espio said.

"Greetings to you all, my name is Interijento Oxybelis and I was the one who help Sireena and Sonic here back to you lot!" Interijento said while introducing himself to the rest of the group.

"Not to be suspicious, but how come you're boarding our ship with us?" Tails asks as Interijento begins to explain.

                                                                          *An hour later*

"…I see! So you're someone who is from another world in Chris' universe." Tails said after hearing Interijento's story.

"That's right, so I decided to tag along with your friend over there to head back to earth together." Interijento said and confirmed.

Just then, Chris came back in and was wearing some adult size cloths as he gently makes his way back to his set.

"What's with baggy clothes?" Sireena asks as she giggles quietly.

"Well once we reach the reach the end of the tunnel, you'll find out soon." Chris said as he sits down onto his set.

"Just in time, we're 30 seconds away from the point!" Tails said as the main ship's computer screen picks up the point of their ticket out of the void.

"We finally made it!" Big said feeling jolly.

"At last we are here, Mama!" Cream said while holding her mother's hand.

"We sure are, dear!" Vanilla said happily as everyone else looks and smiles straight ahead.

"Sonic, get ready once we see the glowing light ahead!" Tails calls through the ship's speakers for Sonic to hear.

"Then get ready!" Sonic said as he then jumps forward ahead of the ship and transforms into Super Sonic just as the see a glowing white light ahead as he moves in first with everyone following him.

                                                                 *Earth, Station Square, Thorndyke Mansion*

Back on earth out in the open filed, the portal that Chris' friends and family had been working on was finally finished and was already activated with a tiny electro glow in the middle opening.

Chuck was making sure that everything on the portal was working correctly. There was a podium next to the portal on the right. Between the podium and the portal was a big projection screen for people in the distance. There was a huge crowd waiting in front of the portal. Almost every person in Station Square was here. Once Chuck gave the ok, the President stepped up the podium while a voice spoke.

"Ladies and gentlemen, the President, of the United States." The President's secretary announced as everyone applauded before the President spoke.

"My fellow Americans. Today we shall not only have great hero's return to us, but will also link our world to Sonic's by using one portal here and another in their world. If everything went to plan than Christopher Thorndike will have finished the portal on the other end. Now to explain the portals I present Chuck Thorndike." The President announced as everyone applauded while Chuck took the stand.

"Thank you. Now the way these portals will work will be similar to a pair of walky talkies. They will send and receive signals to each other. Once the portals are completely connected then they will act like a window to each world. When you step threw it will by just like walking threw a regular archway. I already activate the portal as you can see the glow of electricity, it shooed start searching for the signal and instantly start connecting." Chuck made his way over to the control panel while the President spoke.

"Let's all count down to the connection of two worlds. 10!" He said as everyone started counting down with the numbers on the projection screen while chuck got ready to push the last button.

"9!"

"8!"

"7!"

"6!"

"5!"

"4!"

"3!"

"2!"

"1!"

"Activating the portal now!" Chuck said as everyone saw the portal fill the giant arch.
Everyone was dead silent waiting for something to come through. Soon electricity started to jump around the arch. After that a giant blue spike comes through the portal. Everyone gasped. More of the spike through with wings attached and Palm trees. It was the Blue Typhoon. When the ship was have way through seven different coloured lights shot out of the portal and spread out in the distance. Once the ship was all the way out it turned left and landed in front of everyone.

"Hay look up there!" A young teenage boy shouts out as everyone looks up and notices someone standing on the nose of the ship who was in fact Sonic standing before everyone.

"Hi there!" Sonic said just as then, the whole crowd of people started to cheer and jump with joy as their long time hero had finally returned after 6 years.

"He's back!" Check said looking happier then ever to see Sonic as everyone else was as well.

Just them, a ramp came out of the side of the Blue Typhoon as Sonic's group all came out. Even Chris was back in his 18 year old look.

"We did it! We made back!" Chris said looking happy that his home trip plan was a success.

"Wow Chris, you weren't kidding about being 18!" Amy said as she and a few others were surprised.

"We can talk to him about that later, look who's there running up to us!" Tails said and points to outside as everyone looks and notices some frillier faces.

"Tails, it's me!" Chuck calls out as Tails notices him and was really happy to finally see Chuck again as he takes flight and flies down to his old friend as they both soon hug.

"Chuck, it's really you! You haven't changed a bit at all!" Tails said while he and Chuck were happy and lost into a father and son like hug.

"Look there you guys!" Cream said as Amy, Vanilla and the Chao also came over and notice who was down there as they rush down to them.

"Miss Amy, it is truly you!" Ella said as tears came from her eyes while running towards the girls.

"Hay you guys!" Helen, Danny and Francis called out happily as they to run towards Amy and Cream and all begun in a group hug.

"We really missed you all!" Amy said while she and Cream hugged Ella and then the others.

"Rouge!!!" A person called who was in fact Topaz running up to Rouge in tears.

"Topaz!!!" Rouge said in shock surprise as she flies down to her partner and hugs her.

"Hay, Knuckles!!!" Another person said who was in fact Hawk rushing up to Knuckles as he too was rushing his way down.

"Hi Hawk!" Knuckles said happily as he and Hawk greet and shake hands with each other.
Meanwhile, Shadow and Omega were standing by watching everyone being greeted as they decide to just stand back and watch. Also the Chaotix and Big were also being said hello by those who remember them.

"They all look really happy that finally get to see you guys again, huh?" Sireena asks while standing close to Sonic and Chris.

"They sure are, and I kind of feel truly happy that we're back on earth. I feel like wanting to go for a run to places I haven't been to for a while!" Sonic said and smiled while rubbing his nose.

"Oh hay you guys!" Chris said as he notices his parents running up to him.

"Oh Chris, I'm so glad my baby is home!" Lindsey as she and Nelson hug their son.

"Mom, I'm 18!" Chris said feeling embarrass as Sonic and Sireena giggled.

"It's also great to see you back safe as well Sireena!" Nelson said as he hugs his niece.
"Thanks Uncle Nelson, it was quite a lot of work to get back here!" Sireena said as she and Nelson brake away from the hugging.

The whole crowd was in super cheers, Sonic and the others were happy that they are reunited with their old friends as he then looks up ahead out in the distance. "I have a feeling more adventure will be awaiting us! First, I think we should all have a party!" He said as he and everyone jump in joy.

Meanwhile on the top of the ship, Metal Sonic was standing above as he watches Sonic and everyone being greeted by people all-around as he grins down. "Hehehehehe… HEHEHEHEHEHE… Rest while you can Sonic, but now that you bought to world of your memories, it's high time to for me to fulfil my destiny." He said as he then flies off unnoticed. "After I obtain all the pieces of the puzzle, I'll offer chaos and destruction… to ALL THOSE WHO OPPOSE ME! HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!"
